Mrs Poorni Rajesh took over as the Senior School In-charge in 2012 and has worked tirelessly for the welfare of her students and staff. A very approachable and affable personality, she has had an exemplary career as an educationist with twenty seven years of teaching experience. Before joining Sanskriti, Poorni Rajesh was the principal of Maharishi Vidyamandir, Jabalpur and had been recognized for her leadership skills as well as her remarkable ability to connect with her students.
She is at heart, first and foremost, a Mathematics teacher and had graduated from Stella Maris College, Chennai and secured the seventh rank in M.Sc. Mathematics, at Sagar University, Madhya Pradesh. Her Maths classes have always been a hallmark of path breaking methodology and innovative activities.
A multi faceted personality, Poorni Rajesh also has keen interest in Literature which drove her to study Master of Arts in English Literature. As a student she excelled at volleyball, was the President of the Student Council at National College of Education, Chennai, while pursuing B.Ed. and was also the treasurer of the Astronomy Club at Stella Maris.
Mrs Ambika Gulati leads the middle school with her foresight and consummate organizational skills. A trail blazing student of Economics, she graduated from St Stephens College, New Delhi and secured the third rank in the Delhi University and thereafter completed her Masters from St John’s College, University of Cambridge. In 2012, she stood first in Delhi University in the M. Ed. Programme.
Though Mrs Gulati began her career as a banker, her passion has always been teaching. Having joined Sanskriti in 2000, she had led the Economics Department till 2008 and introduced many pioneering methodologies in the classroom. She has worked with significant educational organizations such as NCERT, NIOS and is a member of CBSE’s Economics Course Committee. Mrs Gulati has authored books on Economics and has conducted several workshops for teachers in NCR.
At present, Mrs Ambika Gulati heads the department of Professional Development as well as International Relations. Her dynamism and exceptional understanding of educational issues are taking the institution to greater heights.
Mrs Anita Sud joined Sanskriti in 1998 and within a year became the In-charge of the junior section. She has led the junior school admirably for years and has broken new ground with very effective and stimulating methods of teaching for the young ones. It is to her credit that the junior school boasts of a very happy environment and lays the foundation of creative, thinking and feeling Sanskritians. Mrs Sud’s vision and proactive approach to her vocation ensure that the children enjoy numerous extra-curricular activities and at the same time their academic prowess is nurtured.
Mrs Anita Sud has had a brilliant academic career with Masters in Sociology from Delhi School of Economics and Diploma in Journalism from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. She has also completed a two year Educational Leadership Programme from the College of Educational Management. Teaching has been her first love and she has been teaching social studies in grades IV and V for years. She thrives in the company of children and takes each day as a welcome challenge!
